Most international visitors are required to obtain a Nigerian visa before arrival. However, nationals of ECOWAS member countries and selected visa-exempt nations can enter without a visa for short stays.
Once you complete your registration and confirm participation, the organizers will issue a Letter of Invitation and Event Participation Confirmation, which you can use to support your visa application at the nearest Nigerian Embassy, High Commission, or online via the Nigerian Visa Portal (https://portal.immigration.gov.ng).
Typical documents include:
Valid international passport (minimum validity of 6 months)
Completed visa application form (online)
Two recent passport photographs
Letter of Invitation from NIAEXPO 2026 organizers
Evidence of hotel reservation and return flight booking
Proof of payment for visa fees
Processing times vary by country but generally take 7–15 working days after submission of all required documents. Early application is strongly recommended.
Visa-on-Arrival is available for eligible business travelers and exhibitors upon prior approval. Applicants must submit details at least 4 weeks before travel to receive authorization from the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).
